Come celebrate summer and community with us at the first annual Stone Way Community Pop-Up! We’re bringing together some of our favorite neighborhood businesses for a fun, family-friendly open house right here at Stone Way Auto.

Whether you're in the mood to shop local, meet adoptable pups, try a new activity, or just enjoy a sunny afternoon with neighbors, there’s something for everyone. You’ll find interactive experiences and pop-ups from these amazing local partners:

  • All Together Skatepark: Seattle’s only indoor skatepark, focused on creating a positive, inclusive space for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

  • Spinnaker Chocolate: A local bean-to-bar chocolate maker crafting small-batch, ethically sourced treats that are as beautiful as they are delicious.

  • Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary: A nonprofit rescue saving animals from high-kill shelters and uniting them with loving families in the PNW.

  • Eames NW: A contemporary men's clothing store offering timeless pieces with a Pacific Northwest vibe.

  • Cedar House Flowers: A floral design studio known for lush, garden-inspired arrangements using locally grown blooms.

  • Seattle Bouldering Project: A community-focused climbing gym offering bouldering, yoga, and wellness programming for all levels.

And if you get hungry, Where Ya At Matt will be parked outside serving up their famous New Orleans-inspired eats.

Volunteer Park Summer Concert

Summer Series at the Amphitheater 2025

Volunteer Park Trust is thrilled to announce the return of our Summer Series—featuring none other than two-time Grammy Award winner Sara Gazarek! Back by popular demand, Sara and her band will once again grace the stage at our spectacular series of performances in the beautifully renovated Volunteer Park Amphitheater.

Her appearances over the past two years have been a standout highlight of the season, captivating audiences of all ages and helping to shape this celebration into a beloved summer tradition.

This year’s lineup continues the momentum with a stellar roster of the Pacific Northwest’s finest musicians and songwriters. Each evening promises unforgettable performances in Capitol Hill’s new cultural hub—Volunteer Park.

Our free concerts will be held every Thursday from July 10 to August 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Our series kickoff on July 10, known as Picnic in the Park, will include kids’ activities and free ice cream.

Food trucks will be available at every concert. Check out the incredible lineup below, gather your friends and family, and join us in celebrating music, community, and summer in Seattle!

West Seattle 4th of July Parade

The West Seattle 4th of July Kids parade is a beloved tradition dating back nearly 30 years. It started when a family in the Admiral neighborhood organized a little get together for friends and neighbors to dress up in festive gear and walk to Hamilton View Point Park for a picnic. 

Join your neighbors in your most festive Independence Day garb to take in gorgeous West Seattle scenery on the short walk from Sunset Ave to Hamilton Viewpoint. Enjoy the celebration at the park featuring a fire truck, kid's activities, food trucks and SACK RACES!

Ballinger Park 4th Celebration

The 3rd of July Family Celebration is a beloved tradition. 

This year’s festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. the fun will include pie eating contests, field games, a DJ and food trucks. A fantastic fireworks display over beautiful Lake Ballinger will be the highlight of the event when darkness falls at approximately 10:00 p.m.
